November 17 All-Mail Ballot Special Election
Santa Cruz City School District
How to obtain an accessible ballot for the November 17 Election

The November 17 Special School District Election is being conducted by mail.

We understand that a paper ballot is not an accessible means of voting for many of our voters. Therefore, we have the following options:

1. The touch screen voting unit is available in our office at 701 Ocean Street, Room 210 beginning Tuesday, November 3. Voters will be issued a second ballot to vote on the touch screen which allows a voter with a disability to vote independently and privately. Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. We will be closed Wednesday, November 11 for the Veterans’ Day Holiday.

2. On Election Day, Tuesday, November 17, from 7 am to 8 pm we will have the touch screen voting unit available at the following locations:

  • Santa Cruz County Elections – 701 Ocean Street, Room 210 in Santa Cruz.
  • Congregational Church of Soquel - 4951 Soquel Drive in Soquel.

3. If you prefer to have a Santa Cruz County elections official come to your home or other location to assist you in voting, we are available to provide that service. Please call our office at 831-454-2060 or email us at vbm@votescount.com to request assistance.
