The Santa Cruz County Clerk/Elections Department has election information available for the June 6, 2006 Primary Election. We appreciate your efforts in helping to inform our voters of the news and deadlines regarding the June 6, 2006 Primary Election.

Voter Pamphlet Pages containing measure text, analyzes, arguments and rebuttals for the 3 local measures on the June ballot:
Candidate Statements of Qualifications filed by candidates for the following offices:
Ballot Proof Pages containing all the names and ballot designations of candidates appearing on the June 6, 2006 ballot in Santa Cruz County;
Voter Information Pages describing how to mark a ballot, ways to vote, and an announcement of the introduction of touch screen voting in June 2006;
Candidates’ names, addresses, and telephone numbers (this information is not posted online because the law does not allow the posting of this information unless the candidate has authorized such information to be available on the Internet.
Voter registration numbers by district and by party as of the 54 day close (updated registration figures will be available after May 22);
Number of Absentees Issued to Date. This list includes those ballots mailed to overseas and military voters beginning April 7, and the permanent absentee ballots and all-mail ballot precinct voters’ ballots who will be mailed ballots on May 8.
Polling Places: a DRAFT list of the county’s 159 polling places for the June election;
