Answers to election-related questions, voter and candidate services are now posted on the Santa Cruz County Elections Department's website.

The Voters' Information Pamphlet providing the measure text, analyses, and arguments for the four local measures on the November ballot, are now available on the website. In addition, statements of qualifications filed by 90 of the 118 candidates on the ballot may be viewed online.

Voters who want to locate their polling place, may now do so online. The site provides the facility and address, as well as driving directions and a map.

Other voter and candidate services available on the web include: vote-by-mail ballot applications in English and Spanish; voter registration forms; candidate campaign filing forms and manuals; election procedure manuals; past election results; voter turnout history; voter registration numbers; poll worker applications; a list of elected officials; as well as many election links to sites that provide election information.

On election night, absentee ballot results will be posted soon after the polls close at 8 p.m., and votes cast from the polling places will continue to be posted until the last ballot is counted. Final results will be posted after the official canvass that can take up to 28 days after the election.
