Reclamation District (RD) 2049 provides agricultural drainage services in the College Lake area in southern Santa Cruz County. RD 2049 was formed in 1934 pursuant to Reclamation District Law (California Water Code §50000 et seq.) Its boundary encompasses a 0.5 square mile area with 20 parcels and 15 landowners.
The votes cast in this district are weighted.
Each voter is entitled to cast one vote for each dollar’s worth of assessment.
