Voting in the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election
Due to COVID-19, California elections officials will mail a ballot to all voters in early October per Governor Newsom's Executive Order.
Voting at home is a safe, secure way for voters to cast their ballots in the November election. Voters will receive their ballot in the mail, and they can vote it at home, and return it in the envelope provided to an accessible ballot drop box, or mail it in the postage paid envelope. We will also have a Remote Accessible Vote-by-Mail system for voters to receive their ballot in their email, vote it, print it out, and return it in the enveleope we mailed to them or in their own envelope.
In addition, there will be in-person voting locations available for voters who need assistance, want to vote on the accessible tablet that also contains a Spanish ballot, need to obtain a second ballot, need to register and vote in person, or any other reason. Details of the in-person voting locations will be provided at a later date.
